Our Ethanol Plant :

On 26th January 2007, IECBP signed purchasing agreement with International Gasohol Corporation Limited or IGA to acquire the ethanol facility plant in Rayong. This purchase has made IECBP one of the leading ethanol producers in the country with production capacity of 170,000 liters per day, using fresh cassava and cassava chips as raw material. The plant is expected to run in full operation in 4th quarter 2007.

The location of the factory is in Nakarin Industrial Community Rayong – Banbung rd. (Highway3138) Tumbol Nong Bua Umpur Ban Kai Rayong. Located in the Industrial Estate, IECBP will be granted full corporate tax privileges from the Board of Investment of Thailand for 8 years. Rayong is also the strategic location for purchasing cassava, the cheapest raw material, from various suppliers in the eastern region and delivering our ethanol product to buyers (i.e. oil refineries). The total area of the land is approximately 40 rai. There is a great potential to purchase the nearby land to expand production capacity to 500,000 liters per day in the future.

Our Location :

Rayong is one of the best strategic locations in Thailand for setting up a plant as it is nearby these following important places Laem Chabung Port: 9 Kilometers away, locate on the South-east side of the plant. Bangkok: 137 Kilometers away Therefore, we can effectively distribute our product to both local and oversea customers

Rayong is the city where it is abundant of agricultural product such as Rubber, Durian, Cassava Etc… Therefore, we can make sure that we always access to our input (cassava) all year.

Our Ethanol Plant Technology :

Every technology of the plant has been precisely designed by Alfa Laval, the world’s renowned machinery solution provider. With 124 years of experience and countless projects in ethanol plant handling, we believe that Alfa Laval can provide our plant with the state-of-the-art machines specially built to support production at full capacity. 170,000 liters per day at present, IECBP will expand our production capacity to 500,000 liters per day in the near future to ultimately fulfill our engagement in Thailand’s energy industry.
