Mr. Tawee Butsuntorn
Chairman
Tawee Butsuntorn is a Chairman of IEC Business Partners Co., Ltd. He has devoted himself to the successful development of his organization and the Kingdom of Thailand for more than 40 years. Before joining IECBP, Mr. Butsuntorn held many management positions at Siam Cement Plc., one of the biggest state enterprises in Thailand. Mr. Butsuntorn also served many directorship positions in several organizations and was the Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries during 1998-2002.
Currently, Mr. Butsuntorn is Chairman of Bankthai Plc., Union Petrochemical Plc., NFC Fertilizer Plc., Cathay Leaseplan Plc., Dai-Ichi Cororation Plc., He is also a director of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. and T.C.C. Land Co., Ltd. Mr.Butsuntorn also held several positions such as Foreign Business Committee of Ministry of Commerce, an advisor to the Board of Investment Committee, the chairman of the Committee for tax privilege in Energy Conservation of Ministry of Energy.
Mr. Butsuntorn is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uganda to the Kingdom of Thailand. He received 3 Honorary Doctorate Degree in Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, King’s Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Burapha University. |

Lt. Somsak Yamasmit
Director and Chairman of IEC
Lt. Somsak has more than 30 years experience working for Ministry of Commerce, where he held several major positions such as Director of Export Promotion Division, Deputy Director General of Department of Foreign Trade, Deputy Director of Department of Insurance and Director of Department of Commercial Registration. His political positions include secretary of Minister Of Commerce in 1973-1974 and consultant to Minister Of Commerce in 1997.
Currently, Mr. Yamasmit is Chairman of International Engineering Plc. (IEC), President of Asian Capital & Consultant Company Limited, President of Elite Plus Company Limited, Director of Sino-Thai Resource Department Public Company Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Siam Gulf Petrochemical Company Limited. |

Mr. Laohapakdee has strong background in Information Technology and Telecommunication development for more than 20 years. Before joining IEC group, Mr. Laohapakdee had worked in leading telecommunication and broadcasting industry to develop products/services for emerging market in Thailand and Regional with main responsibilities in both engineering and management areas.
